- PeeCee parallel port tape drives will not work on the Amiga. Nor will ones
- that use the floppy controller. You need a SCSI tape drive, assuming you have
- a SCSI controller in your A3000.

- How much data do you have to back up? I use a ZIP drive with AmiBack and it
- works just great. With compression on I get about 135 megs per disk. Plus you
- can use the ZIP for other things besides backup. Not so a tape drive and the
- tapedrive is likely to cost more than a ZIP given that you can't use the cheap
- PeeCee parallel/floppy drives.
